Event Strategist. Systems Thinker. Intentional Designer.
My name is Gergana.
Born and raised in Bulgaria, I moved to the United States at eighteen to pursue my education and begin my career in hospitality and event strategy. What followed was more than a decade immersed in luxury hotels, boutique properties, and corporate environments where precision, discretion, and service were non-negotiable.
I built my foundation in guest-facing roles before moving into conference and convention services, managing complex group logistics - from rooming lists and billing structures to catering execution and audiovisual coordination.
Later, as a corporate meeting planner in Washington, DC, I sourced, contracted, and executed business and social meetings from start to finish. Registration systems, dietary accommodations, AV needs, travel coordination, vendor management, post-event reconciliation - every moving part.
Across every role, one pattern became clear:
Good design reduces friction.
Structure removes stress.
Clarity creates calm.
From Corporate Precision to Everyday Calm
Alongside my professional life, I became a wife, a mother of one energetic and creative little boy, and the manager of a busy household.
Life moved fast.
Between career demands and family responsibilities, I began applying the same operational thinking I used in corporate events to our home life. Systems replaced chaos. Planning replaced last-minute scrambling. Thoughtful design replaced disposable noise.
I care deeply about sustainability, nutrition, and creating environments that feel grounded rather than overwhelming. I garden. I compost. I cook at home. I choose fewer, higher-quality items over excess and clutter.
What began as personal adaptation evolved into something larger:
Event strategy meets family life.
Operational clarity meets intentional design.
The Evergreen Design Studio was born at that intersection.
What I Bring to Every Project
• Hospitality-trained attention to detail
• Contract-level precision and planning discipline
• Emotional intelligence developed in high-pressure environments
• A systems-oriented mindset
• The lived experience of modern parenthood
Whether I am designing a digital invitation with built-in RSVP tracking or structuring a team-building session for corporate teams, my goal is the same:
Create experiences that feel seamless.
Looking Ahead
The Evergreen Design Studio serves families seeking thoughtful, structured design; and organizations seeking engaging, well-executed meetings and events.
In the coming seasons, I look forward to expanding both family-centered design tools and corporate team-building experiences built on clarity, structure, and meaningful engagement.
Because design should simplify life, not complicate it.
And when I’m not designing, you’ll likely find me in the garden, experimenting in the kitchen, or planning the next thoughtfully organized celebration.
